Okay so there is still a lot for me to do if I want to get this blog up and running the way I would like. One thing I need is blog posts. Here is my first one. It is not going to be perfect and I am okay with that. Every blog I post is like a step in the right direction. And who knows how often I will change direction? I don’t.
I have noticed a few things that I need to add to parts of the blog that you will never see. There is a widget for everything and I am learning as I go along. Like how I really should have thought of adding that widget before I started writing this blog. And how I really should have added a category for this blog since it will look strange in the Film or Books category. And then of course there is always the concern of where to find those categories and everything else I am used to seeing in the Draft section of my blogs when I write, A. Rebel’s Rant. Live and learn. One foot infront of the other however unsteady. Baby steps aren’t just for babies.
And I am not a kid anymore. Life is getting shorter as my list of goals is getting longer. There is so much I want to do that stopping or waiting until everything is perfect is well, stupid. If I don’t start somewhere, I will end up nowhere. Or in the same or worse position I was in last year.
Moving forward isn’t always fun especially when I am my only cheerleader. But the way I look at it, I am not alone. There have been countless people before me who have accomplished great things. If I suck it up, who knows maybe I can be half of what I want to be. After all, life is the best teacher and the best students are life-long learners.
